WILHELMINA MULLONGA LIBAN MARY May 21, 1943 - May 9, 2003 It is with heavy and sorrow filled hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Wilhelmina Mary. She leaves behind a rich legacy of unconditional and selfless love, devotion, and caring which is manifest clearly in those who were fortunate enough to love, and indeed, be loved and cared for by her. Mourning her loss are her husband Benjamin, her children, Peter (Linda), Lisa (Chris), and Melanie (Scott) her sisters and their family members (Domy and Cleopatra) her in-laws and their family members (Domy, Lourdes, Dean, Liezl, and Rosita; Ched, Luminoso, their children, and their childrens children) as well as her many friends (Rita and family in particular - Les, Jason and Trisha and now their respective families), colleagues, and other relations. "Mina" spent a lifetime in the service of her family, her community, and her god. She will long be remembered as an extraordinary nurse, a better wife, mother, aunt, and friend, and an even better human being. We miss you, we carry you in our hearts and minds with us always, and we promise to honour the lessons which you both taught and so clearly lived. Your grace, strength, determination, compassion, resonating laughter, and most of all, your unending love will go far to fill the void felt so acutely by us all. We would invite all who knew Mina to attend Prayers (with viewing), a funeral service as well as a reception as follows, prayers will be held Tuesday, May 13 at 6:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peters Church, 748 Keewatin with interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens reception at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Please, in lieu of flowers we, the family, would invite you to make donations to either CancerCare Manitoba, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7 or to Health Sciences Centre, Emergency Department, MS7 - 820 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1R9, that is, as the staff of both programs were wonderfully supportive and consummately professional in their care of Mina. Thank-you and God Bless. Arrangements in care of: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
